• For left-hand drive vehicles, the BCM is typically under the steering column.
• Identify the gray connector on the BCM and disconnect it.

Step 2: Connecting the Cable

• Plug one end of the 40 pin cable into the gray connector and the other end into the BCM.
• Extend the cable if needed (right-hand drive vehicles may require this due to the OBD port location). Note: Need to extend the OBD2 PORT cable as it won’t reach for RHD Vehicles.
• Connect the OBD port to the Autel IM608 scanner.

Step 3: Key Programming Process

1. Launch the Autel IM608 and select Mitsubishi > Outlander (2021 and newer).
2. Navigate to Control Unit- Keyless System (CAN)- Key Learning. If the device has no communication with the vehicle, you can go to
   Hot Function- Key Learning (Guided) menu.
