How to Clone VAG MQB49 5C Transponder using Autel AT100 Chip?

Autel MaxiIM IM508S and IM608 II updated “Transponder” function on the main menu.  Now you can copy/clone MQB48 and MQB49 5C key with Autel.

For keys like MQB and 5C, if you know the CS code of the original car key, you can directly copy key using AT100 super chip.

Here is an example of cloning MQB49 5C transponder with Autel.

Cloning is no longer necessary to be programmed because it clones all the info inmo data sync id.

Step 1: Read original key information

Go to the Transponder function.

Insert the original MQB49 key into XP400 Pro induction coil.

Select ‘Transponder Reading’ to read transponder information.

Autel will ask to enter 16 bytes CS code to access.

You can get the 16-byte CS code from immobilizer data.

NOTE: If enter the wrong CS code, Autel will refuse to read key information.

Step 2: Write data into the chip

Then go Transponder Cloning- 5C Transponder cloning. Then follow the prompts to clone MQB59 5C chip using AT100 super chip.
