Question: I often experience failures when programming MQB48 keys. Do you have any advice on which xhorse keys to use?
often impossible to make the dealer key
I generate the xsmqb1en keys on keytoolmax and I program on Autel IM608 pro2. Is this a problem?
Here is the clue.
Autel can’t precode xhorse mqb. We advise our users to take kd zb15. Works like a charm with the im608.
Therefore impossible to make the dealer key with Autel on an XS key even if it was correctly previously generated with an xhorse tool.
Use zb15-3 and it will be ok.
We have used dozens of XS keys for MQB system by programming with KTP or VVDI2 and all successfully (both proximity and bladed keys), never tried to do it using IM608 though, but tried to use MQB keys which designed for Autel on Xhorse tools and it happened to be unsuccessful.
