Problem:
Autel IM608 breaks Honda keyless. It is a 2021 honda accord- when performing all keys lost
Prompt comes up asks if vehicle is newer than (2020) once you hit YES, it will corrupt BCM.
21 is newer than 2020 but immo is old style. Autel damages bcm data and there is no way to restore.
Here is the clue.
This has been known issues for some time now. Select NO when it ask you if new system. Regardless and it will program fine. You can still add an Autel key into the system. At least BCM for Hondas are cheap.
Yes is for the new Honda key style (2022+ egg shaped key)
No is for the old key style.
Always answer NO regardless the year.
