Can I do a AKL on a Ford Ranger 2010 3.0l XTL, Autel im608 points to Ecm eeprom but I don’t know what’s the deal with Immo box, as i followed the steps from autel.
Did a key via dumb everything successful, Autel pulled the pin code. but car won’t start some say its the Immo box.
that’s pin code found it on the eeprom in the ecu.
Solution:
The pin code is correct. It’s a 8-digit pin code. You cannot code immo via OBD, either direct eeprom, or manual method.
Put Autel away, it will not do this.
TMPro2/Tango can do this immo box. There are secured Motorola MCU inside this immobox
You have to dissolder it then read by TMPRO2 with HC805P18 adaptor.
You can also make immo off if you can read the ecu.
If you have pin, then use manual method to code Temic 8c.
Here is the clue:
1. )Read eeprom in ecu.
2.) Open dump on Tango/TMpro2
3). Tango display pin code
4.)Use 8C Transponder and enter programming mode by manual procedure
5.) Job done.
There are just 1 or two tricks.
1st make sure switch on ignition that detects key in/out is working perfectly. Chime with key inserted , chime off with key out.
Also check drivers door switch and clean if needed (look at door open /close indication on cluster)
If you don’t have Temic 8C , Xhorse vvdi super chip XT27 generated as 8C also works. Tested ok.
