OBDSTAR newly update Toyota 8A H non smart key All keys lost programming without dissembling immo box. The new upgrade can be applied to X300 DP plus and x300 pro4.
Supports RAV4, HILUX, CROWN, KLUGER, COROLLA, CAMRY, LEVIN, PRADO and REIZ AKL.
Example:
Program 2017 Toyota Levin 8A H blade key AKL:
Device:
- OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus full version key programmer
- OBDSTAR P002 Adapter
- OBDSTAR Key SIM
- OBDSTAR TOYOTA-2 cable
Note: No need to replace the IMMO box
Connection:
Follow the following wiring connection to connect TOYOTA-2 cable
Connect P002 Adapter with TOYOTA-2 cable
Then connect to X300 DP Plus with the main cable
Procedure:
Tap “DP” to enter the main menu
Select IMMO-> Asia-> TOYOTA/LEXUS-> TOYOTA/LEXUS V32.45-> Manual Select System-> BLADE-> TYPE 3 (WITH H 8A/8E)-> EUROPE
Step 1: Read IMMO Data
Ensure the Internet connection is normal.
Confirm whether the P002 adapter, TOYOTA-2 Cable or TOYOTA-1 (BENCH mode) cable connected correctly
Note: For the usage method, you also can check the operation instruction of this interface or menu interface.
When the IMMO data is read out, save it with a new filename.
Step 2: Make Start key
- This function can generate the Key SIM start key when all the keys are lost.
- Using the Key SIM start key can replace the original car master key for key programming operations.
- The Key SIM start key must be kept charged before it can be used, and it need to be regenerated after power failure.
Select the original IMMO data just saved in step 1 to operate
Connect Key SIM simulator with X300 DP Plus key programmer
Generate the Key SIM start key successfully
Then place the indicator light of the Key SIM start key close to the ignition switch and insert the blade key without chip into the ignition switch, turn the blade key to start the vehicle.
If the vehicle can be start normally, please use the Key SIM start key and the blade key without chip instead of the original vehicle master key for key addition and removal operations.
Note: Before operation, remove the TOYOTA-2 cable from the car and restore the vehicle to its original condition.
Step 3: Program key
1 master key is needed to erase or add other keys!
The method to identify master key or valet key:
Insert the key into the ignition
- If immobilizer light isn’t bright, that is master key.
- If it is bright for 1 sec and then extinguished, that is valet key.
Insert the programmed master key to switch ignition on
Insert the key to be programmed and keep the ignition off
Wait for about 60 seconds until the immobilizer lights turn off
Finally, use the key programmed to check if it can start the car.
