Problem:
I am trying to program the Mercedes W221 key when lost all keys. Autel IM508 can read EIS but won’t let me do all keys lost.
Saying This type of keys are currently not supported, only third pary keys are supported. What does this even mean?
Solution: Wrong key. You should put an aftermarket blank key in the programmer. Autel isn’t programming the NEC keys, that’s why you got that message. One downside of Autel, it only writes BE Keys. Not NEC Not BGA.
Need BE key. Buy good quality VVDI BE key. Or Use xp400pro and IMKPA kit to program NEC key.
