Program Geely Emgrand EC7 09 24C02 Key with Orange5 and Tango

How-to: program a new key to a Geely Emgrand EC7 year 2009 with eeprom 24C02 by using Orange5 and Tango transponder key programmer under all keys lost situation.

Step 1: Read EEPROM dump with Orange 5

Remove and open the IMMO box

Connect EEPROM IC chip 24C02 with Orange 5 programmer via clip adapter

In Orange 5, search 24C02 and read data

Then save data, i.e: geely5.bin

Step 2: Write Key with Tango

Connect Tango with computer via USB cable

Insert a pcf7936 transponder into Tango key programmer

Open Tango software, select Car Model->Geely->Emgrand->EC7->2009-(24C02)

Open dump read by Orange5

Identify key information

Select an unused key position and write key (PCF7936)

Write key success

Save new key data, i.e geely8.bin

Step 3: Write back data to Orange5

Back to Orange 5 software

Open new key data geely8.bin and press Write

Write new key data back to eeprom 24C02 immobilizer success

Now you can start vehicle with the new key.
