Lonsdor K518ISE key programmer has successfully programmed a remote key on a BMW 528i CAS2 immobilizer system via OBD2.
Procedure:
Connect K518 host with vehicle via OBD diagnostic socket
Turn on K518 key programmer
Insert working key and press Start button
Select Immobilizer->BMW->Immobilizer->CAS2/CAS3->Program key
Press OK to continue
Press Start button once
Lonsdor k518 will read BMW CAS and remote key information
Remove key from ignition switch
For smart key, take it outside the car
Reading key information
Select Key Position 4 and click on OBD Generation
If the key is an original key, please pre-process first, if the key has been programmed but failed, please do key unlocking and CAS key data backup fisrt
Select key type: Remote key
Insert key to be programmed into Lonsdor K518ise key slot (to identify the key is legal and to pre-process key)
Detecting key
Key is legal
Insert key to be programmed into car slot
Writing key
If for remote or smart key, please complete following steps:
1.Take away the key from ignition switch
2.Insert key into ignition switch again
3.Press Start button
If vehicle can not start, or direction lock icon displays on the dash, please sync ELV or DME accordingly.
Program complete.
Test the remote control and start car.
